Continue your journey today with a boat ride into one of the narrow branches of the Sognefjord. Arrive in the fjord village of Flåm for a short break to enjoy the sights and perhaps grab a bite as you take in the fresh mountain air. Then you will board the famous Flåmsbana (Flåm Railway). This hour-long, historic train ride will take you through some beautiful landscape, slowing down and even stopping at the most scenic spots, ending at the small, mountain station of Myrdal. Explore Oslo on your own today. Oslo is a nature-centric city, with greenery and wooded areas never far away. Besides enjoying these spaces, it is recommended to take the ferry over to the island Bygdøy,which offers several museums, including the Norsk Folk Museum with a stave church. Travel via train from Oslo northwest to Trondheim, a 7-8 hour journey through the countryside (alternative is to fly). Arrive in Trondheim, Norway’s first capital. Transfer on own to your hotel and spend the afternoon discovering the many beautiful places to be found. Overnight in Trondheim

Today is open for you to continue your exploration of Trondheim. Visit Nidaros Cathedral to see the Norwegian Crown Jewels and the rumored final resting place for Norway’s Patron Saint Olav.
