Day 1Departure from US

Day 2Arrive Bergen, Norway

Upon arrival, transfer to the city center with the remainder of day at leisure to discover Norway’s “Capital of the Fjords”. Overnight in Bergen

Day 3Bergen City Tour | Meals: B

Meet your group and local guide after breakfast for a walking tour of Bergen which will include the Hanseatic Wharf, Bryggen, the Håkonshall, and the world-famous Fish Market. Explore Bergen as you would like this afternoon, perhaps do some shopping, take the Fløibanen Funicular up to the top of Mount Fløyen, or visit some of the many museums in the city. You may also wish to take an optional Food Tour or an Evening Sightseeing Cruise. Overnight in Bergen

Day 4Cruise to Balestrand | Meals: B D

This morning, depart from the nearby Bergen port, heading through the magnificent Sognefjord to Balestrand. The afternoon will be at your leisure to explore the area. There are many hiking opportunities nearby for hikers of all ability levels. Overnight in Balestrand

Day 5Fjærlandsfjord Cruise and Norwegian Glacier Museum | Meals: B D

Travel deeper into the fjords and see two of Norway’s glaciers, as well as visit the Norwegian Glacier Museum. As you cruise to Fjærland, you’ll pass hamlets, waterfalls, and steep mountains. Jostedal Glacier, the largest glacier in mainland Europe, is visible as you cruise. You will take a bus to the Bøya Glacier and the Norwegian Glacier Museum. After the glacier visit, you will return to Balestrand by boat. Overnight in Balestrand

Day 6To the East | Meals: B

Today’s travel east begins with a cruise along the Aurlandsfjord to the fjord village of Flåm, where you can enjoy lunch and shopping on your own. In the afternoon you’ll board the famous Flåmsbana railway for a hour-long journey that will take you along some of the most scenic sights in Norway. After arriving in the small mountain station of Myrdal, a journey on the Bergen Railway will take you to Norway’s capital, Oslo. Overnight in Oslo

Day 7Oslo | Meals: B

Your group will enjoy a tour of Oslo’s highlights: Vigeland’s Sculpture Garden, the Royal Palace, City Hall, Akershus Fortress, and the Viking Ship Museum. The remainder of day is open for you to explore. Overnight in Oslo

Day 8Depart Oslo, Norway | Meals: B

In conjunction with your flight, transfer by bus to the airport for your return to the US – or extend your stay in Scandinavia!
