Day 1Departure from US

Day 2Arrive Oslo, Norway

Upon arrival, train transfer to the city centerl with the remainder of day at leisure to explore Norway’s capital. Overnight in Oslo

Day 3Oslo City Tour | Meals: B

Meet your group and guide after breakfast for your tour of Oslo’s highlights: Vigeland’s Sculpture Garden, the Royal Palace, City Hall, Akershus Fortress, and the Viking Ship Museum. The remainder of day is at leisure. Overnight in Oslo

Day 4To the West | Meals: B D

Depart Oslo by train and travel over the “roof of Norway” to the small mountain station of Myrdal, where you will board the famous Flåmsbana railway. The hour-long Flåmsbana journey will take you along some of the most scenic sights in Norway. After arriving in fjord village of Flåm, you can enjoy lunch and shopping on your own. In the late afternoon, depart on a fjord cruise through the Sognefjord, to the historic village Balestrand. Overnight in Balestrand

Day 5Fjærlandsfjord Cruise and Norwegian Glacier Museum | Meals: B D

Travel deeper into the fjords and see two of Norway’s glaciers, as well as visit the Norwegian Glacier Museum. As you cruise to Fjærland, you’ll pass hamlets, waterfalls, and steep mountains. Jostedal Glacier, the largest glacier in mainland Europe, is visible as you cruise. You will take a bus to the Bøya Glacier and the Norwegian Glacier Museum. After the glacier visit, you will return to Balestrand by boat. Overnight in Balestrand

Day 6Cruise to Bergen | Meals: B

Enjoy Balestrand at leisure today. There are many hiking opportunities nearby for hikers of all ability levels. Late afternoon departure by fjord express boat through spectacular Sognefjord, often referred to as the “King of the Fjords”. Arrive in Bergen this evening. Overnight in Bergen

Day 7Bergen | Meals: B

Your group will enjoy a walking tour of Bergen which will include the Hanseatic Wharf, Bryggen, the Håkonshall, and the world famous Fish Market. Explore Bergen at leisure this afternoon, and perhaps do some shopping, take the Fløibanen Funicular up to the top of Mount Fløyen, or visit some of the many museums in the city. Overnight in Bergen

Day 8Depart Bergen, Norway | Meals: B

In conjunction with your flight, transfer by bus to the airport for your return to the US – or extend your stay in Scandinavia!
