Itinerary
This is a sample semi-independent itinerary. Travel will be independent with guided tours and activities along the way. Our Destination Specialists will work with you to create an itinerary to meet your preferences.

Day 1Departure from US

Day 2Arrive Iceland - Blue Lagoon

Transfer on own from the international airport the short distance to your hotel on the Reykjanes Peninsula. Visit the nearby Blue Lagoon, a geothermal spa in the middle of a lava field, with naturally heated waters, with minerals giving the water a light milky-blue shade. After relaxing in the healing lagoon, return at leisure to your accommodation. Overnight in Grindavík

Day 3to the Faroe Islands | Meals: B

Transfer independently back to Keflavik Airport for your morning flight to the Faroe Islands. Upon arrival, you will be transferred via airport shuttle to your accommodation in the capital, Tórshavn. Take an optional walk around Tórshavn, a unique town built in the Middle Ages, filled with winding lanes, narrow passages, and cozy black-tarred houses. Overnight in Tórshavn

Day 4Day tour to Vágar island | Meals: B LP

Experience Vágar Island today. Offering some of the most striking views in the Faroe Islands, the Wonders of Vágar Island tour should be on any visitor’s to-do list. The tour includes the village of Gásadalur, Bø Sandavágur and the Troll Woman’s Finger. This popular island is rich in history and legends. The tour also includes some of the most celebrated waterfalls and viewpoints in the Faroe Islands. Evening at leisure – you may wish to dine in the old part of town. Overnight in Tórshavn

Day 5Vestmanna Cliffs and Viking Settlements | Meals: B

You will be picked up at the accommodation for a half day excursion to the Vestmanna Cliffs. Via the mountain road to the village Vestmanna where the excursion boat awaits. The tour will take you through narrow sounds, into deep grottoes carved by the surf through ages, and close to the high-rise cliffs. On the return to Tórshavn there is a stop at the Viking settlements in the village Kvívík. Remainder of day at leisure – there many shops near the marina where you can find Faroese handiwork, art, and music. Overnight in Tórshavn

Day 6Return to Iceland | Meals: B

You will be transferred to the airport for your return flight from the Faroes to Iceland. Coach transfer from the airport to Reykjavik city center. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
