Day 1Departure from US

Day 2Arrive Stockholm, Sweden

Arrive in Stockholm. Transfer via express airport train to central station, then short transfer on own to your hotel. Remainder of day on own to relax and enjoy this magnificent city, built on 14 islands – Stockholm is often considered the capital of Scandinavia. Overnight in Stockholm

Day 3Stockholm sightseeing | Meals: B

Today you get to tour Sweden’s capital via the hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus, a great way to get around the city and get off at the sights that interest you (in the winter months from Jan-March, Stockholm Winter Sightseeing by Boat is included instead). For a truly remarkable experience visit the Vasa Museum, built around the massive Vasa Ship that famously sunk in Stockholm’s harbor on its maiden voyage in 1628 and was retrieved and put on display in the 1960s. Nearby, you can check out Skansen, the festive open air museum and Nordic Zoo. Also found on Djurgården is the ABBA Museum, celebrating Sweden’s most famous musical group. Overnight in Stockholm

Day 4Stockholm | Meals: B

Day on own to enjoy lovely Stockholm – a stroll through Gamla Stan, the Old Town, is highly recommended, where you will find the Royal Palace and Nobel Museum, as well as many quaint shops and restaurants. An optional independent day tour can be added today to Uppsala, located north of Stockholm – easy to reach via train. Overnight in Stockholm

Day 5Stockholm and Overnight at Sea | Meals: B D

First half of the day is at leisure to continue exploring Stockholm. This afternoon transfer via shuttle bus from Stockholm city terminal to the harbor for check-in and departure on your overnight cruise on the Baltic Sea, beginning with a sail through Stockholm’s famous archipelago. A buffet dinner is included on board in the dining room, with views to the water, then time to enjoy the ship’s other amenities. Overnight in on board cabin

Day 6arrive Helsinki, Finland | Meals: B

Morning arrival into Helsinki, Finland. Transfer on own to your hotel. Pick-up your Helsinki Card today, which offers free sightseeing tours, free entrances to most attractions, along with free use of public transportation. Overnight in Helsinki

Day 7Day trip to Tallinn | Meals: B

You will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to the harbor terminal for your day trip across the water to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. Begin with a two-hour ferry ride across the Baltic Sea, then enjoy a three-hour walking tour of Tallinn. You will have some free time to explore the enchanting and extensive Old Town area on your own, with its historic buildings, quaint streets, and impressive architecture. Walk/transfer on own to the harbor for your return ferry back to Helsinki. You will be transferred by car to your hotel. Overnight in Helsinki

Day 8Explore Helsinki | Meals: B

Explore Helsinki with the help of your Helsinki Card. This city was founded by Gustav Vasa of Sweden, as a competitor to Tallinn. Built upon this foundation, the city offers both historic sites like the sea fortress Suomenlinna, as well as modern art like the Sibelius Monument and the Kiasma Museum. The series of trams that cover the whole city make navigating simple for visitors. Overnight in Helsinki
