Biography

A recent graduate of the University of Minnesota, Sophia is launching her professional journey in marketing and advertising within the travel industry. Passionate about travel, she has explored Africa, the Caribbean, and much of Europe.

What aspect of travel do you enjoy the most?

I enjoy the opportunity to try new things and see new places. Going on an adventure in a new place to try food and experience the culture.

What is one thing you would never travel without?

I would NEVER travel without my camera.

What has been your most life-changing travel experience?

When I was in college I studied abroad in Spain for a semester. It allowed me to live in and experience a new culture, learn a new language, and travel all through Europe.

What has traveling taught you about yourself?

Traveling has taught me to say yes more. Stepping out of my comfort zone has opened the door to new experiences and the joy of saying yes to adventure.

What is your favorite destination, and why?

My favorite destination is Nice, France. I rode a moped along the southern coast of France, stopping in little villages and enjoying the beautiful views along the way.
