On this expedition-style cruise, you will glide through stunning landscapes, encounter the “locals” – penguins, whales, and other wildlife – and get hands-on by collecting data for citizen science programs. Informational lectures will take place on board in topics including geology, history, the environment, and other relevant areas.

Itinerary Highlights:

March is an exceptional time to see marine wildlife, and our sailing will have a special focus on these species.
Participate in citizen science programs for major research organizations including observing on board research scientists tagging whales.
Our ship, the MS Island Sky, has a 112-passenger capacity, and with fewer passengers, you’ll spend more time on shore. This all suite ship features world-class cuisine and many amenities; you will also have access to an on board photography coach.
A BBC film crew will be joining our voyage to gather footage for their Big Blue Live series. Last year Big Blue Live won the coveted BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) award for best live event.
