Tour Dates: March 1-15, 2019

On this expedition-style cruise, you will glide through stunning landscapes, encounter the “locals” – penguins, whales, and other wildlife – and get hands-on by collecting data for citizen science programs. Informational lectures will take place on board in topics including geology, history, the environment, and other relevant areas.

Itinerary Highlights:

  • March is an exceptional time to see marine wildlife, and our sailing will have a special focus on these species.
  • Participate in citizen science programs for major research organizations including some special whale research that we will be pioneering on our voyage!
  • Our ship, the MS Island Sky, has a 112-passenger capacity, and with fewer passengers, you’ll spend more time on shore. This all suite ship features world-class cuisine and many amenities; you will also have access to an on board photography coach.
  • Hosted by Linda McCormick, Borton Overseas’ Managing Director, with Peter Neill as our onboard featured lecturer.

Our Signature Journeys are premier, small-group tours hosted by our Destination Specialists to the destinations we offer. These programs are specially designed and feature unique experiences, special themes, and/or events. By joining a Borton Overseas Signature Journey, you become part of an exclusive travel experience not found with other travel providers.
