Day 1Departure from US

Day 2Arrive Stockholm, Sweden

Transfer by airport express train into the city center, with independent transfer from the train station to your hotel. Get adjusted to the time difference and get to know Stockholm this evening. Overnight in Stockholm

Day 3Stockholm | Meals: B

Today, see the sights of Stockholm, a city built on 14 islands. Stockholm is often considered the capital of Scandinavia, making it the perfect first city for your trip. Stroll through Gamla Stan, the Old Town, and visit the Royal Palace and Nobel Museum, as well as many quaint shops and restaurants. For a truly remarkable experience visit the Vasa Museum, built around the massive Vasa Ship that famously sunk in Stockholm’s harbor on its maiden voyage in 1628 and was retrieved and put on display in the 1960s. Overnight in Stockholm

Day 4Train Journey to Copenhagen | Meals: B

Travel by train through the Swedish countryside, through the Malmö train station, then cross over the Øresund Bridge to Denmark, disembarking in Copenhagen. Independently transfer to your hotel, located a few blocks from Central Station. Explore Denmark’s capital this evening. Overnight in Copenhagen

Day 5Copenhagen | Meals: B

Today is a day to experience Copenhagen at your leisure – an active city with much of the population traveling by bicycle daily. As a visitor, one of the best ways to explore is by foot, bicycle or the convenient public transit. You can visit classic historic sites like the Little Mermaid Statue, Rosenborg Castle, The Round Tower, and Amalienborg Palace, or newer spots like the several renowned Michelin starred restaurants Copenhagen plays host to. A canal boat tour from beautiful Nyhavn or a visit to one of the many excellent museums are also options. If you are more interested in a longer excursion, you may instead wish to take the train to the nearby town of Roskilde to visit the Viking Ship Museum there, or train north to visit Shakespeare’s inspiration for Hamlet’s Elsinore, Kronborg Castle. Overnight in Copenhagen

Day 6Copenhagen - At Sea | Meals: B D

The first part of the day is at leisure for breakfast at your hotel and lunch in the city. Independently transfer to the ferry pier and depart on the modern ship mid-afternoon. After an extensive buffet dinner in the Seven Seas Restaurant, you will have many opportunities to relax and enjoy the amenities on board. Overnight on board cabin

Day 7Arrive Oslo, Norway | Meals: B

Arrive in Oslo this morning. Independently transfer to your hotel. Explore the nature centric city of Oslo, with greenery and wooded areas never far away. Besides enjoying these spaces, it is recommended to take the ferry down to the island Bygdøy to see the many museums there, including the Folk Museum with stave church. Another suggestion is a stroll through Vigelandsparken, the largest single artist sculpture garden in the world. Overnight in Oslo

Day 8Norway’s Capital City: Oslo | Meals: B

Continue exploring Oslo on your own today, including main street Karl Johans Gate, several art and history museums, the Royal Palace, the opera house, Akerhus Fortress and City Hall. Pack a small day bag for tomorrow and leave the rest of your luggage with hotel reception this evening (or early in the morning). Porter service will be by tomorrow morning to transport it directly to your Bergen hotel. Overnight in Oslo

Day 9Norway in a Nutshell: Oslo - Bergen | Meals: B

Depart by train this morning, beginning your Norway in a Nutshell journey. After a picturesque journey to the small mountain station of Myrdal, transfer to the famous Flåmsbana (Flåm Railway). This hour-long historic train ride will take you through some of the more beautiful parts of western Norway, slowing down and even stopping at the most scenic spots. Arrive in the fjord village of Flåm where you will have a short break to enjoy the sights and a snack. Depart from Flåm for a two-hour fjord cruise through the UNESCO World Heritage listed Nærøyfjord to Gudvangen. From there, a bus ride through the countryside will bring you to Voss. Board the train again for final leg of your journey to Bergen. Transfer independently from the train station to your hotel, meeting up again with your luggage. Overnight in Bergen

Day 10Bergen - Gateway to the Fjords | Meals: B

Spend the day sightseeing in Bergen, a very walkable city. A ride on the Fløibanen Funicular up to the top of Mount Fløyen is a must for first-time visitors to the city. Check out the Fish Market, cozy shops in the old Hanseatic wharf Bryggen, as well as numerous fascinating museums and historic sights to be found today. Overnight in Bergen
