Saturday, September 13Independent US Departure

Depart Twin Cities MN (or other city) on your overnight flight to Paris, arranged on own. Borton Overseas can assist with arrangements for your transatlantic air reservations upon request.

Sunday, September 14Arrive Paris, France | Meals: D

Upon arrival, transfer on own from the airport to the hotel for check-in independently. If you arrive in morning or early afternoon, you may leave your luggage with the front desk and enjoy free time until your room is ready.
Tonight, we will meet in the lobby and walk together to a nearby restaurant for a cocktail and dinner welcome
reception where we toast to an upcoming week filled with culture, iconic sites, shopping, French food and wine!

Monday, September 15Paris City Tour & Dinner Cruise | Meals: B L D

This morning, our group will enjoy a private city tour of Paris. From the comfort of our motor coach, we will discover all the famous highlights you have always wanted to see. The Paris Opera House, Place Vendome, Champs Elysees, Conciergerie,
Louvre Museum, Eiffel Tower and many more will be seen along the way, along with the two natural islands on the Seine River right in the center of town: Ile St. Louis, with its pretty neighborhood, and Ile de La Cite, where we view the Notre Dame Cathedral. Then, we enjoy lunch in the heart of the Latin District on the left bank. Tonight, we will cruise the Seine River and enjoy premium seating with a lovely dinner, while seeing some of Paris’ most famous monuments, gliding under 33 of the Seine
River bridges.

Tuesday, September 16LoJ Fun Day | Meals: B L

Group Lori, Opera Garnier Tour & Shopping – One of the world’s best-known opera houses, Paris’ Opera Garnier, offers opulent detailing and centuries of history, and this in-depth tour makes it easy to understand. Admire its ornate architecture and discover a French cultural icon. After, Lori will lead the group to some of her favorite shopping spots before stopping for lunch.
Group Julia, Hidden Passages and Wine Tasting – SOLD OUT – Built in the late 18th to mid-19th century, the covered passages are hidden gems, full of discoveries like small bookshops, old toy stores, stamp collectors, and tea rooms. Off the tourist track, they offer an alternate vision of Paris. Discover the Palais Royal Gardens, plus some beautiful galleries and arcades. The tour ends with a wine tasting and lunch.

Today, we will visit the newly opened Galerie Dior on the Avenue Montaigne, the heart of the golden triangle. La Galerie Dior is a testament to the visionary audacity of Christian Dior and his successors: Yves Saint Laurent, March Bohan, Gianfranco Ferre, John
Galliano, Far Simons and Maria Grazia Chiuri. Then we are off to the iconic Eiffel Tower for lunch at famed Restaurant Madame! A symbol of Paris and more generally of France, the Eiffel Tower, built by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 World’s Fair, is one of the world’s most visited monuments. Walking out onto the glass platform on the first floor offers the unique sensation of walking on air!

Tonight is our farewell celebration that includes a lovely Parisien Brasserie for dinner followed by a show at Crazy Horse Paris. In 1951, Alain Bernardin opened the original Crazy Horse Paris cabaret in the heart of the Golden Triangle. Crazy Horse is the temple of burlesque and has seen its shows evolve after the legalization of the integral nude – dancers perform the shows completely naked but hidden by the cabaret’s play of lights!
