Monday, June 30Arrive Bergen, Norway | Meals: D

Independent arrivals into Bergen, Norway. After baggage collection, transfer via Flybussen airport bus into Bergen city center, then short walk to accommodation. This evening, the group will gather and walk to Floibanen, and take the funicular up to Mount Fløyen for spectacular views over Bergen and the harbor. Enjoy a group dinner at Fløirestauranten. Overnight in Bergen

Tuesday, July 1Beautiful Bergen | Meals: B

Guided walking tour of Bergen this morning. Sights of interests include the fish and flower market and Bryggen Hanseatic Wharf. Remainder of day at leisure to explore lovely Bergen on your own. Overnight in Bergen

Wednesday, July 2to the Sognefjord region | Meals: B D

Morning departure from Bergen by private coach, heading into the Sognefjord region – the Sognefjord is Norway’s longest fjord, with a number of narrow branches and cozy villages. There will be a ferry ride plus scenic stops made along the way, depending on route chosen – recommend traveling via Flåm, Stegastein viewpoint over the fjord, longest road tunnel Lærdal. Group dinner at your hotel in a fjordside town. Overnight in Sogndal

Thursday, July 3Sogndal – Briksdal – Loen | Meals: B D

Journey through the beautiful mountainous countryside and down to the edge of Briksdal Glacier, an arm of the large glacier Jostedal. Here the group will split up and ride in “troll cars” (open air jeep-type vehicles). You will have a nice walk to the glacier, into the Jostedal Glacier national park, before the troll car takes you back to starting point at Briksdal souvenir shop. Options for lunch on own here. We continue up to the town of Loen, nestled by the water. Dinner and Overnight in Loen

Friday, July 4Geirangerfjord – Loen Skylift | Meals: B D

Drive over to Hellesylt and embark on an hour+ ferry ride along the stunning Geirangerfjord, to the town of Geiranger, located at the end of the fjord. After some free time here and a scenic stop, return to Loen for a ride on the Skylift, a cable car which will bring you 1000 meters up to the top of Mount Hoven in a few minutes. After, enjoying panoramic views of the fjord landscape, we return to the bottom and our accommodation for relaxation and dinner. Overnight in Loen

Saturday, July 5Loen – Håholmen, West Coast | Meals: B D

The tour continues today to the top of the infamous Trollstigen Road. We will make a stop at the top for views before descending the road with its multitude of sharp hairpin turns (note: road may still be closed for repair). After a lunch stop, we continue on to our accommodation, located on an island off of Norway’s west coast – the group will take a short boat ride. Dinner and Overnight: Håholmen Havstuer, Averøy

Sunday, July 6Atlantic Road – Trondheim | Meals: B D

After a leisurely breakfast at hotel and boat ride back to the mainland, we travel along the breathtaking Atlantic Road, which connects islands along the west coast with bridges and causeways. Continue on to Trondheim, Norway’s third largest city. Overnight in Trondheim

Monday, July 7Trondheim | Meals: B

Breakfast at hotel. Guided city tour of Trondheim this morning by coach, followed by a guided tour of Nidaros Cathedral (3+ hours total). Remainder of day at leisure to explore on own. Overnight in Trondheim

Tuesday, July 8Trondheim – Hamnøy, Lofoten Islands | Meals: B D

Morning at leisure. Group transfer by coach to the airport for flight from Trondheim up to Leknes in the southern part of the Lofoten Islands, located off of Norway’s west coast, above the Arctic Circle. Transfer to your accommodation, in a traditional rorbu – Norwegian fisherman’s cabin. Overnight in Hamnøy

Wednesday, July 9Lofoten Islands | Meals: B

Tour with local guide around the southern part of the Lofoten Islands this morning by coach, including nearby Reine. Afternoon at leisure to relax, explore/hike on own, or partake in an optional activity in the Reine/Hamnøy area, such as kayaking, hiking, RIB boat safari, boat & cave evening excursion, or Hamnøy Sauna. At this time of year, the sun doesn’t fully set in the Lofoten Islands, so you can enjoy the area into the late hours. Overnight in Hamnøy

Thursday, July 10Svolvær – Viking Museum | Meals: B D

Scenic transfer this morning from the southern region of the Lofoten Islands up to the main town of Svolvær, with stops en route. Time on own to relax and explore. Late afternoon, group transfer by coach to Lofotr Viking Museum, where the group will have a tour through the exhibitions and a short film. Then in the Viking Chieftain longhouse, enjoy a cozy Viking age dinner. Overnight in Svolvær

Friday, July 11Svolvær – Oslo | Meals: B

Group transfer by coach to the nearby airport for late morning flight from Svolvær down to Oslo. Transfer on own via the airport express train Flytoget into city center, then walk (or taxi) to central accommodation. Remainder of day at leisure to enjoy Norway’s capital. Overnight in Oslo

Saturday, July 12Return to the US | Meals: B

Independent transfer to the Oslo Gardermoen airport via Flytoget express airport train for check-in on flight back to the US (arranged separately) – or option to extend your stay in Scandinavia.
