Diverse Namibia is an active, exciting adventure, exploring key areas of this vast country – its dunes, desert, plains and iconic wildlife – complete with exclusive accommodation in private reserves and concessions and private access to Sossusvlei. The exploration is interspersed with activities such as scenic walks, mountain biking, visiting the spectacular and ancient rock engravings at Twyfelfontein and rhino tracking, along with optional hot air ballooning and horse-riding – all together, a true Namibian adventure!

Day 1Arrive Windhoek, Namibia and Drive Through Khomas Hochland Mountains | Meals: L D

You will be met at Windhoek Airport by your guide and begin your journey by driving through the Khomas Hochland mountains and down into the iconic Sossusvlei region, a driving time of approximately five hours. Overnight at Kulala Adventurer Camp

Day 2Relax at Kulala Adventurer Camp | Meals: B L D

Enjoy the day at Kulala Adventurer Camp, taking a dip in the pool and looking out over the red sand dunes in the distance. Sparse yet thrilling to see are springbok, gemsbok, ostrich, bat-eared fox, the rarely seen aardwolf and many small fauna. Activities include excursions to the incredible dunes of Sossusvlei, early morning ballooning, guided walks and scenic nature drives (some activities at extra cost). Overnight at Kulala Adventurer Camp

Day 3Scenic Drive to Swakopmund | Meals: B L D

Today you depart camp early, driving through the snaking roads of the Kuiseb Canyon and out onto the expansive gravel plains before arriving in Walvis Bay and then finally driving up the skeleton coast into the quaint town of Swakopmund. Overnight at Hansa Hotel

Day 4Kayaking and Beach Lunch | Meals: B L D

Today you will explore the ice-blue Atlantic coast on kayak, from the port town of Swakopmund to its incredible marine mammals. This is a wonderful opportunity to explore this beautiful bay and coastline. Along with spotting pelicans, flamingo, and Cape fur seals, the massive sunfish, leatherback turtles, southern right and humpback whales can be seen in season. A lunch on the beach outside of Swakopmund is included with this activity. Overnight at Hansa Hotel

Days 5-6Experience Damaraland | Meals: B L D

Continue your journey by road on an 8-hour drive to Damaraland, west of the Brandberg Mountain (the second largest monolith in the world). Damaraland boasts a varied and breathtaking assortment of desert-adapted species including one of the highest concentrations of desert elephant and black rhino, and a surprisingly high diversity of wildlife including Hartmann’s mountain zebra, kudu, giraffe, gemsbok, and springbok, with occasional cheetah sightings. Looking south from camp toward the imposing Brandberg Mountains, Damaraland offers its guests endless vistas and one of the best wilderness areas in Namibia. While here you will also have the opportunity to visit the rock engravings at Twyfelfontein and Damara Living Museum. Overnight at Damaraland Adventurer Camp

Days 7-9Game Drives in Etosha National Park | Meals: B L D

Today you will drive to Ongava Game Reserve on the boundary of Etosha National Park to experience big game viewing and this iconic salt pan, staying at the Ongava Tented Camp. You will have the opportunity to participate in game drives to experience this region, as well as a full-day trip through the Etosha National Park. Overnight at Ongava Tented Camp

Day 10Depart Windhoek, Namibia | Meals: B L

Driving south, you return to Windhoek at 2:00 p.m. where the adventure ends.
