Stephanie Hansen

Experience the tastes, aromas, and sights of Costa Rica with Stephanie Hansen!  Not only is Costa Rica known as a prime ecotourism destination, with its volcanoes, rain forests and “pura vida” lifestyle, but it is also famous for its farm-to-table culinary experiences. This trip will teach you everything you need to know about the Epicurean delights of Costa Rica along with Stephanie Hansen!

For over 13 years, Stephanie Hansen and her radio partner have kept you up to date about the latest restaurant, food, and spirit happenings in the Twin Cities on Mytalk 107.1’s the Weekly Dish radio show and podcast.  She has won the NAWBO, Women Business Owner of the Year Award for her company Printz. Stephanie has built a food and lifestyle brand,  StephaniesDish.com. and is a champion of local Minnesota Makers. She has over 250 interviews with Minnesota Companies on her MakersofMN podcast. She now does sponsorship sales and social media consulting, as well as produces her own podcast, Dishing with Stephanies Dish and is a regular foodie contributor on Fox 9’s The Jason Show.  Stephanie loves to travel and has sailed throughout the Caribbean, Italy, and Croatia and travels the United States in her Winnebago Passeo, Winnie. Now she is off to Costa Rica!

Costa Rica is located in Central America, between Nicaragua and Panama, bathed by the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. This little piece of land is home to a population of under 5 million people and thousands of animals and colorful bird species.

Five percent of the world’s biodiversity can be found within Costa Rica’s borders and great efforts have been made to preserve this rich resource; protected national parks make up almost 25% of the land – more than any other country in the world!
