This morning enjoy a short excursion to a local reindeer farm to visit with & feed the reindeer – plus a short sleigh ride. Learn about reindeer herding, which is a significant part of life & culture in Lapland. Return to town, then meet the shuttle for transfer to the Arctic SnowHotel & Glass Igloos, set in the wilderness just outside of Rovaniemi. Afternoon to explore this impressive property, which includes 30 snow/ice rooms of varying designs, an ice bar, ice chapel and even an Ice Restaurant! Day 4Snowshoeing and Glass Igloo | Meals: B

You are woken up this morning with a cup of hot berry juice. You may wish to enjoy a traditional Finnish sauna this morning before breakfast. Early afternoon Snowshoe excursion (2 hours) – the guide will show you how to walk with these arctic shoes in the beautiful landscape of near-by lake as well as a path through snow-covered forest. During the excursion you will have a break by campfire to enjoy some hot drinks and roast sausages by the fire. (Note: this can be replaced by another optional excursion, if you prefer.) The rest of the day is free to relax and enjoy your surroundings. There are three restaurants + two bars on site. Tonight your accommodation will be in a glass igloo, which offers heated floors and a 360-degree thermal glass roof that allows for sleeping under the stars or, if you’re lucky, under the Northern Lights! Overnight at Arctic SnowHotel & Glass Igloos

Day 5Rovaniemi to Helsinki | Meals: B

You will be transferred to the Rovaniemi airport for your flight to Helsinki. Upon arrival at the Helsinki Airport, transfer independently to your hotel – or pick up your Helsinki Region Card at the airport and use it on transport into town. The rest of day is at leisure to enjoy the city on your own. Helsinki is uniquely situated on the Baltic Sea, where it has for centuries protected Finland from invaders. Built upon this foundation, the city offers both historic sites like the sea fortress Suomenlinna, as well as modern art like the Sibelius Monument and the Kiasma Museum. Overnight in Helsinki
