Traveling with Borton Overseas

We’ve all seen the movies where something goes wrong on a trip, and while it’s hilarious on screen, we don’t want it to ever happen to us!

Borton Overseas provides travel planning for several types of travel arrangements. We’ll handle the booking details, provide documents including vouchers and tickets for the items included in your package, include contact information for hotels and our other local partners providing transportation and arrangements, and provide detailed information so you know what happens when, and where you should be at all times! You just relax and enjoy your trip!

Independent

Travel independently but with all the tools you will need to get the most out of your experience. Whether you have a “self-drive” itinerary, or are flying between cities, we’ll take care of booking the arrangements from car rentals to airport transfers, accommodations to sightseeing tours.

Semi-Independent

Semi-Independent itineraries offer just the right combination of guided/escorted segments for the enhancement of your independent adventures! These types of programs – whether already created or designed just for you – cater both to your sense of self-initiated adventure and your need for someone to clarify and guide you through some of the most foreign content of your experience.

Custom Independent Travel

Do you have a travel To Do list? Would you like to put all of your travel wishes together into a personal, customized itinerary? Custom independent travel is an exciting experience. And with Borton Overseas, it is also simple! Tell us where you want to go and what you enjoy doing, and we’ll take care of the rest!

You will work with one of our Destination Specialists, who will present a variety of experiences available in the areas you are visiting, then make all the accommodation arrangements, transportation car, flight, train, boat and tour reservations included in your tour package.

Guided

Whether it is your 1st or 10th time there, having a knowledgeable guide by your side will help you make the most out of your experience! The driving is taken care of, while your guide points out and describes the sights – and most importantly, deals with any issues that might come up, allowing you to simply drink in the experience. This experience can be in a large or small group, or individually with a private guide, for a few hours, a day, or an entire itinerary!

Cruise

We are delighted to feature three distinct types of cruises, with a variety of itineraries, ship types, and destinations!

Expedition Cruises – active adventures to both ends of the earth, with some “in-between” destinations, as well.

Coastal Cruises – primarily in Scandinavia.

River Cruises – in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Scandinavia.

Your Destination Specialist will assist with pre-and post-cruise arrangements, and you can extend your experience with another cruise, or a land-based package.
