Fisherman's Cabin
"Rorbuer" is a Norwegian term for fisherman's cabins found along the western coast of Norway. Many are found in the scenic Lofoten Islands located just above the Arctic Circle off the northwest coast of Norway between Narvik and Bodø.

Rorbuer were orginally built to accommodate fishermen during the winter fishing season. Built on stilts or right on the wharf, they offer a unique atmosphere with wonderful views of the sea and surrounding area.

Many activities are available nearby including hiking, fishing, boating and bike rental. Different sized cabins are available with accommodations for one or two, or larger ones for families, and include a fully-equipped kitchen. Available all summer, other times on request.
