Breakfast at your hotel. Morning at leisure before picking up your rental car and driving to Hotel Klockargarden in Tallberg. Check-in and welcoming with afternoon tea. This evening enjoy a three-course dinner at the hotel followed by welcome and greetings with storytelling of the Hotel Klockargarden and a panoramic slide show. Overnight in Tallberg
Friday, June 20 Midsummer's Eve B L D
Breakfast at the hotel. Today there are many activities in preparation for Midsummer Day, both at Hotel Klockargarden and at other locations in Tallberg and neighboring Leksand. At Klockargarden the flag is raised and remains up all night during Midsummer's Eve. You can help to weave birch wreaths and pick flowers and decorate the maypole. Enjoy a buffet lunch at noon with herring and salmon, salads, hot dishes and dessert. This afternoon the Leksand folk dance group raises a maypole and dances at the Hotel Dalecarlia in southern Tallberg. Later on the pole is raised at the Klockargardens Baker's cottage with speeches, music and dancing around the pole. The city of Tallberg also raises its own maypole this afternoon along with performance of the Swedish ringdance and a traditional midsummer speech. This evening enjoy a 4-course dinner at the hotel. At 7:30pm Sweden's largest maypole is raised in the outdoor arena in Leksand, where there will be music, speeches, games and more. Overnight in Tallberg
Saturday, June 21 Midsummer Day B L D
Breakfast at the hotel. You may wish to attend the service at the Church of Leksand this morning. Enjoy a lunch buffet at the hotel before heading to the Midsummer's Day Celebration at Homestead Holens Gammelgard, where there will be costume displays, music and song, maypole dancing, craft shops, raffles and more. The festivities continue into the night, with a live band and more dancing and activities. Overnight in Tallberg
Sunday, June 22 Tallberg - Stockholm B
Breakfast at your hotel. Today there are opportunities to join in a guided tour of Tallberg, watch a film about the Dala horse, and see a panorama slideshow. Drive back to Stockholm this afternoon and return your rental car at the airport. Independent transfer to your nearby airport hotel. Overnight in Stockholm
