Day 3  Bergen Cruise Departure   B D
Independent transfer to your Hurtigruten ship for embarkation. Cruise along the enchanting Norwegian coast for the next six days. As you make your way north, you have the chance to enjoy interesting presentations and activities. Many of these activities happen out on deck or on land, so you get the chance to feel the crisp and fresh air.  Enjoy the relaxed ambiance of life on board and the opportunity to meet fellow passengers as you take in the spectacular winter landscapes.

Day 4  Floro - Maloy - Torvik - Alesund - Molde   B L D
If you wake up early today you have the chance to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Nordfjord, followed by a delicious breakfast. As you sail past the West cape, enter open seas for one of the few times during this voyage. The ship then navigates through skerries and islands before reaching Alesund. This city is internationally renowned for its unique concentration of Art Nouveau architecture. Take the optional excursion to the top of Mount Aksla for a perfect winter panoramic view. Optional shore excursions are available.

Day 5  Kristiansund - Trondheim - Rorvik   B L D
Today visit historical Trondheim, the first capital of Norway. Time at leisure to stroll down the charming streets, enjoy the peaceful harbor, or cross the old city bridge. The storehouses along the river built on wooden stilts are a colorful contrast to the pure white snow that covers the city during winter. Optional shore excursions are available.

Day 6  Bronnoysund - Sandnessjoen - Nesna - Ornes - Bodo - Stamsund - Svolvaer   B L D
Today you'll cross the Arctic Circle, and the hunt for the Arctic light begins. This occasion is marked with an Arctic Circle baptism on deck. You have the chance to learn more about the Aurora Borealis and begin the hunt for the Arctic light. Later you enter the dramatic and narrow Raftsund. If the weather and ice conditions allow it, sail to the entrance of the famous Trollfjord, where you can enjoy freshly made fish cakes on deck. Optional shore excursions are available.

Day 7  Stokmarknes - Sortland - Risoyhamn - Harstad - Finnsnes - Tromso - Skjervoy   B L D
After a morning stop in Finnsnes, continue to the Arctic capital Tromso. Perhaps take part in an optional polar dog sledging excursion or the Polar History Walk where you can taste beer from the country's northernmost brewery. As you sail along the coast, the Captain invites you on deck to taste stockfish. The ship is now sailing in waters where you have the best chances to see the Northern Lights. Optional shore excursions are available.

Day 8  Oksfjord - Hammerfest - Havoysund - Honningsvag - Kjollefjord - Mehamn - Berlevag   B L D
Honningsvag is the nearest port to the North Cape. An optional excursion to this breathtaking site puts you at 71°10'21"N, only 2,000 kilometres from the Geographical North Pole. Join the presentation of the Sami culture and history in pictures, words and music. Later on you pass a rock formation that is sacred to the Sami people, Finnkirka. Enjoy the spectacular lighting on this famous rock. Try the optional guided snowmobile trip to one of Europe's most extreme natural areas. Other optional shore excursions are available.

Day 9  Arrive Kirkenes   B
The end point of your Coastal Voyage is just 10 kilometres from the Russian border. Kirkenes is home to the fantastic Snow Hotel and the base for several exciting optional excursions, including dog sledging and King Crab fishing. Kirkenes also boasts several fascinating small museums, recounting the history and heritage of this remote frontier. The polar nights extend from November 21st to January 21st. It is not completely dark during this time; the light and colour in the sky are amazing when the weather is favourable. Overnight in Kirkenes

Day 10  Kirkenes Snow Hotel   B D
