It all begins in the fairytale capital, Copenhagen, then experience the Viking capital, Oslo, before ending in the enchanting and elegant capital of Sweden, Stockholm. Along the way you will be witness to the spectacular mountains and magnificent fjords of Norway, and the fascinating capitals with their cobble-stoned streets, palaces and canals.

Friday  Departure from the US

Saturday  Arrival in Copenhagen, Denmark
Arrival to Copenhagen Airport, and meet an English speaking representative for regular arrival transfer service to your hotel. Please consult your welcome letter which you will receive on check-in to your hotel, and kindly note where and when to meet your tour leader. A short welcome meeting will be held at 7:00 pm, where you will receive information on the upcoming tour program. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at Hotel Skt. Petri

Sunday  Copenhagen   B
Breakfast at your hotel. This morning you will depart by private coach with your local English-speaking guide for a 3-hour city sightseeing tour. This tour will be the perfect introduction to "Wonderful Copenhagen." Start with a drive towards the City Hall Square where the famous pedestrian street "Stroget" begins. Pass the Tivoli Gardens, the New Carlsberg Glyptotheque and the National Museum, the Old Stock Exchange, the Naval Church, the Kings New Square, the Royal Danish Theatre then through the old canal area, Nyhavn, with its picturesque houses and vessels. Continue on to see the impressive Gefion Fountain, the Royal residence, Amalienborg Palace and the statue of the Little Mermaid, known from Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale. During the tour you will also delight in the Christiansborg Palace, housing the Danish Parliament and the Rosenborg Castle which houses the Crown Jewels. The afternoon and evening is at your leisure. Monday  Copenhagen - At Sea   B D
Morning at leisure - you may wish to stroll the pedestrian & shopping streets of the city, or sit outside of a cafe by a picturesque canal. In the afternoon, you will be transferred by private coach to the pier to embark on the DFDS Seaways overnight ferry, which departs Copenhagen at 4:30pm. A buffet dinner will be served on board. Overnight onboard in Outside Commodore Class cabin

Tuesday  Arrive Oslo, Norway - Lofthus   B D
Buffet breakfast on board before the ship arrives into Oslo harbor at 9:45am. Disembark, then board the private coach. You will drive westward, across Honefoss, Nesbyen, with landscape alternating between pine forests and lakes, then to beautiful Hallingdal Valley. A few kilometers away, you visit Gol, followed by Geilo, a small town surrounded by mountains and famous for its ski resorts. You will drive onward to the impressive Hardanger fjord and to Lofthus, one of composer Edvard Grieg's favorite haunts, and one of the most beautiful points of the fjord. Dinner and overnight at Ullensvang Hotel in Fjord View room

Wednesday  Lofthus - Bergen   B
Breakfast at your hotel. Depart Lofthus and travel back along the fjord until reaching Brimnes where you will cross the splendid Hardanger fjord, by travelling across the newly opened Hardanger Bridge. The Hardanger Bridge is one of the longest suspension bridge spans in the world, and the longest in Norway. After reaching the other side, Bruravik, you will continue by coach, bordering the fjord, passing by Nordheimsund and crossing forests of birches until you arrive in Bergen. Early in the afternoon, your English-speaking local guide will meet you at your hotel for a 2-hour city sightseeing tour, during which you will delight in St. Mary's Church, Haakon's Hall (no entrances), the old Bryggen area, and the colorful & picturesque fish markets. Thursday  Bergen - Flam - Loen   B D
Breakfast at your hotel. Morning departure from Bergen and travel to the historic town of Voss, with a stunning background of snow clad mountains. Here, board a train which will take you across the mountain plateau to Myrdal where you change to the world famous Flam railway. Experience one of the most spectacular rail journeys, descending down from the mountain station of Myrdal to the quaint fjord village of Flam. Here you have some free time before embarking the afternoon ferry, which will carry you on a breathtaking crossing along the Aurland & Naeroy fjords, which are branches of the Sognefjord, the longest and deepest fjord in Norway. The coast offers very strong contrasts, sometimes you will experience rocks falling dramatically into the fjord and other times the river turns into a wonderful green. Disembarkation in Gudvangen and continuation in coach, through one of the largest tunnels of Norway. You continue your journey through Laerdal and Skei until you reach Loen, beautifully situated between mountains, lakes and fjords. Dinner and overnight at the prestigious Hotel Alexandra in a Fjord View room

Friday  Loen - Briksdal Glacier - Geiranger   B D
Breakfast at your hotel. Optional Excursion: Briksdal Glacier, an arm of Europe’s largest Glacier Jostedalsbreen. After arriving at Briksdal Glacier, you will make a visit to the foot of the glacier, travelling by small motorized “Troll cars” and walking through Norwegian nature to the very snout of the glacier. Here you experience the glacier’s breathtaking blue ice. After the visit, there will be free time for lunch at your own discretion. Passengers not joining the optional excursion, who prefer to enjoy the hotel and its facilities, will be picked up at around 4:00 pm. Leave Loen and continue your journey through the wonderful Norwegian mountains to the famous point of Dalsnibba, an observation point located 1.476 meters above sea level, with a spectacular view of the famous Geiranger Fjord, UNESCO World Heritage. (The visit to Dalsnibba is subject to climate permission - cannot be guaranteed). Once your visit to Dalsnibba is finished, continue your journey downward to Geiranger for check-in at our hotel. Before dinner, a special tour of the Veteran car collection of The Mjelva family is offered. A number of these beautiful cars were used to show tourists around the Geiranger area in the 1920’s and 1930’s and they are still in excellent condition. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Union in Fjord View room. 

Saturday  Geiranger   B D
Morning departure to take the ferry, crossing the dramatic and ever so impressive, UNESCO's World Heritage listed, Geiranger Fjord, situated among lush mountains and wild waterfalls. Travel from Geiranger to Hellesylt and be inspired by this beautiful unspoiled landscape. After disembarkation in Hellesylt, you will travel north to Trollstigen or Troll's path, one of the most dramatic and visited areas in Norway. Travel the 11 hairpin turns on this stunning stretch of road that winds its way along, just of 100 km of incredible landscape. There will be a lunch stop en-route (not included). In the late afternoon you return to the hotel. Dinner at your hotel. Overnight at Hotel Union in Fjord View room

Sunday  Geiranger - Oslo   B
Breakfast at your hotel. Early morning departure by coach to the capital Oslo. Travel via Lom, where you can admire the oldest wooden church in Norway, which dates from the 12th Century. Late afternoon arrival in Oslo and hotel check-in. Overnight at Hotel Continental

Monday  Oslo   B
After breakfast, you will embark on a 3-hour city sightseeing tour in the Norwegian Capital, beautifully situated by the fjord. Enjoy the view from the Opera house before heading off to Bygdoy Island, where you will visit the Viking Ship Museum (entrance included), with its three Viking vessels. The Vigeland Park, one of the major Scandinavian cultural treasures, will welcome you with sculptures by Gustav Vigeland, who dedicated his life to his artistic works. You will pass by the Royal Palace and the main street, Karl Johan. Free afternoon. Overnight at Hotel Continental

Tuesday  Oslo — Stockholm, Sweden   B
Breakfast at your hotel. Depart by coach or train to Stockholm, passing through Norwegian and Swedish forests, and through the region of Varmland, the home of many legends. Arrive in Stockholm late in the afternoon for check-in to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel At Six

Breakfast at the hotel. Meet with local guide and depart by private coach for a 3-hour city sightseeing. The city of Stockholm is built on 14 islands and connected by 57 bridges. The city embraces the unique character of the 13th century Old Town and modern high-tech architecture. Stockholm's islands are bordered by Lake Malaren in the west and the Baltic Sea in the east where the archipelago with its 30,000 islands awaits exploration. The capital is a big city with a small town personality. Stockholm is proudly called “Beauty on Water” and a sightseeing tour, which includes a walk in the Old Town and an inside visit to the City Hall, where the Nobel festivities take place, makes for a memorable morning tour. Discover a city of contrasts. Go back 750 years in time and feel the medieval atmosphere of the Old Town "Gamla Stan" as you wander through narrow streets. The seven hundred year old cathedral of Stockholm, Seat of the archbishop, will be seen during your stroll through Old Town, where you will also get a chance to see the Stortorget. An inside visit is paid to one of the city’s best known symbols, the City Hall with its Blue and Golden Halls. The tour ends at the hotel. The afternoon is at leisure and you may enjoy an optional visit to the Vasa Museum. Overnight at Hotel At Six
