Number of Days:
One of the best times to see the migration herds just happens to be over the Christmas holiday season. This is a time when herds of over 2.5 million wildebeest, zebra, impala and gazelle start arriving in the southern reaches of the Serengeti. Here they will spend the next several months giving birth and feeding on the tender shoots of the short-grass plains, before they migrate north in search for fresh sources.
We've crafted a sample itinerary to consider for your private foray into the Tanzania wilderness. Your days are spent with your dedicated, professional Tanzanian guide who will translate the wonders of nature that unfold with each day. Nights are spent in a wonderful combination of tented lodges and camps - all offering private, ensuite bathrooms, comfortable beds and attentive staff to look after you.
As you can imagine, high demand holiday dates book up quickly, so don't drag your heels. Flights can be booked 11 months out and the most sought after accommodations are usually sell out 8-12 months out.
We invite you to call and talk with one of our Africa specialists who will discuss the many options and determine the best itinerary to fit your travel preferences. There are also endless options for pre and post extensions should you have more time.
Africa is a gift you and your family will remember forever... we look forward to making it very special!
