From suites to cabins with shared bathroom facilities and from portholes to picture windows, our cruises offer a wonderful variety of sanctuaries to rest the weary soles – and the rest of the body too!

Expedition Vessel
Our vessels are “way cool!!” These ice-strengthened, very small cruise ships are a blast. They blast their way through formidable ice flows to take you to remote rookeries, incidental inlets, and secret shores at the far ends of the earth. Their Zodiacs, with your professional guide at the helm, take you on rides through scenery reserved, essentially, for the exclusive pleasure of whales and penguins and rare birds – yet… you get to experience these secrets too while respecting the environment close at hand!

Icebreaker
Our icebreaker was built in Finland for the Swedish Maritime Association and she’s a mean machine! She has propellers at each end of the ship to push and pull her out of even the nastiest ice jams and her crew all speak English, a welcome relief from some of the icebreaker operations in Antarctica and the Arctic. Not that we’re bragging…, well maybe we are, but we love hearing back from the captains that they had to “unjam“ one of those bigger cruise ships that became stuck in ice that is our playground.

Small Cruise Ship
Many of you love the great big, humungous, 3,000 passenger cruise ships which are, by their presence, raising the levels of the ocean. We don’t like them and we encourage you to read no further if you’re going to become defensive over our defense of small ship cruising. Ladies and gentlemen of the cruising world… if you wish to holiday in a high rise hotel with resort facilities, go to a resort. If you wish to feel the sea “beneath your wings”… to see salt spray coating the hull of your water-borne chariot… if you wish to glide into tiny ports while the big guys disgorge their clients onto buses to access the same little village area… then cruise with us!!! That’s it. We say no more.
